Congratulations!
Award-winning NVPS photographers
Among the award winners of the Napa Valley's first Photo Finale competition celebrating the winter appearance of Napa Valley's ubiquitous wild mustard are three members of NVPS.
All three were winners in the Landscape category and include:
— First place: Dean Busquaert, 'Misty Morning Mustards Napa Valley'
— Second place: MJ Schaer, 'Dawn's Early Light'
— Third place: Nancy Hernandez, 'Mixed Mustard Jubilee'
This year's open invitation photography competition is the brainchild of Napa Valley photographer and NVPS member MJ Schaer, who started working on the idea in September 2022. MJ served as director as well as founder for the inaugural photo competition and said he was pleased with the response, which brought in 72 submissions from 44 photographers.
The Photo Finale 2023 exhibition at Jessup Cellars Gallery, 6740 Washington St. in Yountville, is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily.
The photographs displayed are available for purchase. For more information, visit the photo-finale.com website.
Voting for Peoples' Choice continues until March 29 in the Gallery and the winner will be announced March 30 at the closing reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
